DEIB and the Curriculum
Diverse Educators are delighted to be collaborating with organisations that support teachers, leaders & education professionals in their endeavours to ensure that the curriculum is diverse, equitable and inclusive for all learners.
Each organisation is aligned with our #DiverseEd vision, mission and values to ensure that our learners are represented and have a secure sense of belonging throughout the curriculum:
We have partnered with the Huh Academy to offer our Leading the Diverse Curriculum Programme as a pre-recorded self-paced programme via their CPD platform for educators:
Bennie Kara hosted some interviews for Myatt and Co:
- Dr Adam Brett and Jo Brassington – Pride and Progress: LGBT+ in Schools
- Anoara Mughal – Metacognition in Schools
- Clive Hill – The Careers Curriculum
- Ian Timbrell – Age Appropriate Relationship and Sex Education
- Joanna Kolota – Creating Successful EAL Learners
- Kiran Satti – Diverse Picture Books for Primary School
- Liz Pemberton – Anti-racism in the Early Years
We also hold an annual Diversity in the Curriculum Virtual Conference every November:
