GAEd supports schools and settings across the education sector with LGBTQ+ inclusion. We work strategically with leadership teams, governors and DEI leads looking to make organisational culture change.

Through auditing, training and coaching we help schools:

• develop inclusive policies and systems
• build representative environments
• reflect on the use of language
• plan for pupil advocacy
• create an intersectional curriculum
• educate their communities

Gerlinde Achenbach (she/her, founder GAEd) is a former primary headteacher, senior consultant in education, leadership coach (listed on the Diverse Educators Coaching Directory) and keynote speaker. Her career in education began the year Section 28 was introduced. To this day she is working to dismantle its legacy and foster acceptance and inclusion in our educational settings.
