Aluna Behaviour Consultancy
As a Behaviour Strategist with 30 years’ experience in teaching I have a range of skills, comprehensive knowledge and expertise to provide specialist support for schools, families, professionals and adults in promoting positive and permanent approaches to affect behavioural change for the better.
Whole-school support, parental engagement and enhancing pupils’ behaviour for learning are key areas of my work. I develop interventions for individual pupils presenting with behaviours that challenge and explore the motivations behind them. My work has a positive impact on addressing persistent disruptive behaviour and meeting pupils’ additional needs. Over a number of years I have supported neurodivergent and care experienced young people as well as those at risk of exclusion. This is particularly rewarding and has had many favourable outcomes.
I deliver a wide range of training packages and workshops which are interactive and with the specific audience in mind; whether pupils, parents or professionals. My commitment to supporting young people who are marginalised in any way is echoed by my belief in the rights of all young people to be represented in education. Supporting the positive regulation of behaviour and of inclusion, diversity and anti-racist practice in education are vital factors in all areas of my work.
I’m a Volunteer Speaker and Community Ambassador for The Children’s Society. Recently I have joined the West Midlands Police Stop & Search Scrutiny Panel. I work alongside a number of organisations, all of which underpin the ethos of my work and the principles of Aluna Behaviour Consultancy.
